Turning Creative Potential Into Career Pathways

S.Y.O.C.A. (SELAH Youth Outreach Career Advancement) is the career development and mentorship initiative of S.E.L.A.H. Conservatory. While students grow through creative training, S.Y.O.C.A. ensures they also gain the professional tools needed to move forward with confidence academically, personally, and career-wise.

Your donation helps close the gap between passion and opportunity by providing youth with structured support, leadership development, and real world preparation.

Why Your Support Matters

Many students have talent but lack access to the resources, exposure, and guidance needed to develop that talent into a pathway. S.Y.O.C.A. exists to create that bridge. Through this initiative students receive support with:

  • Career readiness and workforce preparation

  • Mentorship and accountability structures

  • Leadership and character development

  • Public speaking and communication training

  • Portfolio building and audition preparation

  • Resume support and professional branding

  • Internship and apprenticeship pathway development

  • Community impact creative projects

 

This is more than training. It is advancement.

  • Guest professionals and industry led masterclasses

  • $150 supports a career readiness workshop

  • $300 supports one student in the pilot cohort

  • $1,000 sponsors a mentorship workshop series

  • $5,000 supports expansion and program sustainability
